Quakers Fall in Home Opener to Washington and Lee

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lindsey Dee had a match-high 10 kills on .389 hitting to help Washington and Lee University past Guilford College Tuesday night, 25-13, 25-20, 25-12. The Generals improved to 9-0 with the win in both teams' Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opener.

M.A. Boles chipped in with nine kills and added 13 digs. Setter Meghan Meleski had a match-high 31 assists and added nine digs and four kills. Libero Cameron Hill cleaned up the back row with 18 digs and also had three assists.

Mary Moody and Emma Gunn shared team-high kills honors with five apiece. Taylor Whitley had 20 assists and seven digs. Moody and Taylor Phillips both had 11 digs for the Quakers (2-8, 0-1 ODAC).

Guilford visits league-rival Virginia Wesleyan College Saturday (9/17) at 1:00 p.m.
