Osterhout Joins Quakers as Director of Athletic Communications

GREENSBORO, NC -- The Guilford College athletics department is excited to announce the hiring of Jade Osterhout as the Director of Athletic Communications. In this role she will promote the college's 21 varsity sport programs.

Osterhout comes to Guilford after stints at several successful NCAA Division III schools, most recently at Utica College in Upstate New York where she was the Assistant Sports Information Director. During her time as a Pioneer she helped to promote the school's 26 varsity sports, including its nationally-ranked men's ice hockey team.

Prior to adorning blue and orange, Osterhout spent a few months at Adrian College in Michigan where she helped oversee the coverage of all 44 NCAA and varsity club sports teams. While with the Bulldogs she had the opportunity to travel with the women's soccer team as it claimed it's first-ever NCAA tournament win in 2019.

The Spencer, NY native spent all four years of her undergrad as a student worker in the Athletic Communications office at Oswego State. Following her graduation, she was given the opportunity to remain at her Alma Mater to serve as the assistant director under the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minorities and Women's Grant.

Osterhout has a Master's degree in Sports Administration and Leadership from Adrian College and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Oswego State.

Jade recently relocated to Greensboro with her husband Jarrett, their son Calvin and their beloved pets Dexter and Gnash.
