  • Four Quakers Honored in ODAC Men’s Soccer, Speed ODAC COY

    Four members of the Guilford men’s soccer program were honored for their performances in the 2020-21 season, including Quaker head coach Cory Speed, who was named as the ODAC Coach of the Year, in an announcement that came from the league on Tuesday, May 4th. Three Guilford student-athletes were also recognized including Kenny Nzekwe (First Team), Logan Haustein (Third Team) and Logan Eure (Third Team).

  • Nzekwe Penalty Kick Sends Quakers to ODAC Championship Game

    Guilford and Roanoke battled to a double overtime 1-1 deadlock, forcing the match to be decided by a shootout, which went the way of the Quakers when Kenny Nzekwe delivered the fourth shootout goal of the game to send Guilford to the ODAC Championship against Lynchburg on Sunday, April 11th in Lynchburg.

    The Guilford men’s soccer team ended the 2021 regular season on a five-match winning streak after claiming a 3-2 victory at Ferrum on Sunday, April 2nd. The Quakers will now turn their attention to the ODAC Quaterfinals when they head to Randolph-Macon for a clash with the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, April 6th.
